During one such visit, Spink met Teggs and Arx, who mistook him for a greedy and malevolent spirit. When Teggs also became a ghost, Spink accompanied him and showed him that his own crew thought that he was dead. The old miner also explained dispium's powers to Teggs, but the stegosaurus didn't believe him at first. In Earth Attack!, Spink, now returned to normal, was a guest at the party at the end of the book, celebrating the final defeat of General Loki. He is seen talking to Hank and Crank the stegoceras.
