Hutch Atkinson is a 32-year old half-negro half-inuit who joined the Sothfarian Voluntary Army and served in a squad with Hector. After the war, he settled down in a Nessing village at the east coast of San'Dia. Hutch fights with a large iron anchor. He is briefly in the player's party in flashbacks involving Hector Tam Cinimod, but can never be controlled directly. Hutch uses regular attacks and will restore his own health and that of his allies with the use of curative items. He has a single OverDrive, Spade, which may cause instant death to non-Unique opponents.
