The Daroga is very closely based on the Martian Tripod walkers from HG Wells' War of the Worlds, though the Ravagers have decided to give theirs an extra leg and an extra attack. The Daroga is a slow but powerful opponent; it has tough armor and heavy firepower, and its giant size means it commands a good view of the battlefield. Their most common attack is their "Death Ray," a series of blue bolts of energy fired from the appendages on top of the Daroga, which glow when they are about to fire.
