The Royal Palace was the residence of King Mitros in Kaas City. The ruler of Dromund Kaas, he was backed by the Galactic Republic. They provided him with equipment to build his palace. However, in 36,400 BBY, the Coup of Dromund Kaas was instigated by Sith Sorcerer Cluj and his followers, in which the palace was destroyed. Cluj later built a new palace for himself at the site of the old one.
