Pumpkin pie is a type of dessert eaten during the Fall and Winter, usually for Thanksgiving Day and for Christmas. The pie is made of pumpkins, the symbol of harvest and of Halloween, and is baked into a pie shell sometimes with a top crust. It is orange and brown in color.
