Three generations ago, Takeru Matthews aka the Last Ninja sealed away the Ninin Beasts for good. After his death, the Ninin revived and stopping them are his descendants, five teenagers who Takeru has chosen to fight this threat together. Though young and immature, these five will train in the Ninjutsu Dojo owned by Jaeden Matthews, Joe and Christy's father. But also they must deal with school,Ninja training and fighting the Ninin Beasts.
