Stand-Off Between the NCIS Team and Jonas Cobb is an incident that occurred in May 2011 and which saw NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and NCIS Director Leon Vance engaging in a tense stand-off against Lieutenant Jonas Cobb, the Port-to-Port serial killer who had abducted CIA agent Trent Kort as well as NCIS Special Agent Erica Jane Barrett who was also the niece of SECNAV Phillip Davenport and also James Palmer, the Assistant Medical Examiner to the main NCIS Major Case Response Team.
