Alison Ann Sweeney (born September 19, 1976) is an American actress and reality show hostess best known for her portrayal as Samantha "Sami" Gene Brady on the long-running NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. In this role, she has earned four Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Fan Voted Daytime Emmy Award. For eight years, she hosted the NBC hit reality show The Biggest Loser, replacing Caroline Rhea from 2007 to 2015.
