Ewan Glover was captain of the sloop Albion in the 1630s. He was involved in the liberation of Oxbay following its occupation by French troops. Ewan Glover captained Albion whilst it was carrying a regiment of English troops who were to assault the French troops at a set date. He accompanied his ship's escort, Nathaniel Hawk, to Greenford where they parted ways.
