At the beginning of A Crown of Swords, Tarna Feir is Elaida's emissary to Salidar. At the beginning of Crossroads of Twilight, Tarna is in the village of Dorlan, east of Tar Valon, with Katerine and the Younglings, and separated from Tar Valon by the rebel Aes Sedai army.
