Orothos was first mate on the Ragstopper, serving under Cartheron Crust. He had a spidery build, with thin white hair, and a "pinched, worried face". His high strung, cautious nature meant he was often left aghast at his commander's orders. He complained that the Ragstopper was "more rags than wood!"
