His plan was that the Eds would sell various hygienic items throughout the cul-de-sac. Most of these items were taken from Ed's bathroom, where they had lain their since purchase, unused by Ed. The first prospect that they interviewed was Rolf; unfortunately, Rolf had fallen under the influence of the magic boomerang and sang at the Eds, causing Eddy to angrily give up on his first patron. Later, the scam was sidetracked when Ed and Edd took possession of the boomerang, and it was eventually abandoned when Ed threw the items the Eds were selling into a sewer while following a boomerang-influenced Eddy's inst
