The moon is where Pope Zera Innocentius performed the ritual to revive Valmar, after he kidnaps Elena. Ryudo, Mareg, and Tio travel to the moon on the Granasaber to rescue Elena. She is rescued by Millenia's sacrifice to allow the party to get away. They rush to the Granasaber, which had little power left with hordes of monsters behind them. Mareg stays behind to fight off the monsters, giving the party the time to escape on the Granasaber. He dies in this last valiant act.
