In eighth grade, Jenny joined the regional youth symphony playing the viola. During her high school years she rotated between performing with the choir, theater, and orchestra. At age 17 she made her first recording, and she made the decision to leave home and pursue a professional career in music. While studying music, dance, and theater in college, she also performed song and dance in theaters across the country. She also performed at Opryland, U.S.A. She entered the world of song-writing and production while working for a mid-west communications company, writing award-winning ads and jingles for radio and television.
