In the continuity of Bwburke94's Doctor Who fanon, Peter Capaldi left the role of the Twelfth Doctor after one series and before a regeneration could be filmed. As a result, there was no 2015 series, and the decision was made to skip over a few regenerations and continue Doctor Who with the Eighteenth Doctor.
