The Indianapolis Road Course is a racetrack first appearing in Gran Turismo 5. The layout of the course used in GT5 and GT6 is the F1 Road Course, used between 2000 and 2007, which is a cutout version of the Indianapolis Superspeedway with more turns at the infield, running clockwise instead of counter-clockwise like the Superspeedway. The circuit starts at a high-speed 1km straight before going to the more technical infield area and back to the high speed rectangular oval. Precise control of your car is needed to win in this two-in-one high-speed and technical course.
