The RG950WFMZ features an American basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a wenge and bubinga Wizard neck with a bound wenge fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio IBZ pickups mounted in a black pickguard, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The RG950QMZ is similar model with a quilted maple top and a white pearloid pickguard which was discontinued in 2014. The RG970WQMZ is a similar model with a quilted top, a rosewood fretboard and no pickguard.
