Speechless Powder is a powder used by the shinobi on sleeping persons. In the Akutagawa Kaden scroll it is sprinkled lightly on the face of a dozed enemy. If the enemy wakes up, the powder will make their voices rough and it will be difficult to speak. In Natori-Ryu, the powder is made of burnt tadpoles and is sprinkled on the eyes of a sleeping enemy. If they wake up, the powder will blind them temporarily, like blinding powder.
