On the way back from Cleveland on the bus, Wilson confided in House that he never had a crush on Julie Christie. His crush was on Melanie, who resembled Christie. He spent a lot of time with her during their senior year talking and playing cards. However, she was asked to the prom by Kyle Calloway, a student in a band with a car and asked Wilson if he minded her going to the prom with him. Wilson said he didn't mind, but he never talked to Melanie after that.
