The Glorus class was a freighter class built by the Federation. The freighter is made up of a small saucer. Two nacelles come up from this section and rest slightly elevated from the saucer either side of the navigational deflector. The vessel is designed as a replacement for the tug class however The class was discontinued in 2383, after only two vessels had been commissioned. The class suffered because of a high power use and several design flaws in the hull shape. (Star Trek: Unity (fan film series))
