The 2008 Subway Fresh Fit 500 was a Sprint Cup Series event held at Phoenix International Raceway on April 12, 2008. Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus again out-thought and out-manevuered the competition, making a fuel gamble to work in a seven-second victory on Clint Bowyer. Points leader Jeff Burton was 6th and now held an 80-point cushion on Kyle Busch (10th) in the championship.
