USS Cricket (1862) was a steamer acquired by the Union Navy during the American Civil War. Cricket—armed with six 24-pounder howitzers—was used by the Union Navy as a bombardment gunboat used to patrol navigable waterways of the Confederacy and to bombard riverside fortifications as required.
