Locke discovered at least two human skeletons within the polar bear cave while looking for Eko. ("Further Instructions") * The first skeleton was found with some fabric with the Pearl station logo on it. This seemed to be a DHARMA Initiative bag or item of clothing. * Beside the first skeleton, there was a second human skull. Animal bones were also present, with at least one animal skull. It is unknown whether these people died before or after the Purge.
