In the mirror universe, Sigma Iotia II was the second planet planet of the Sigma Iotia system star system, located within the space of the Terran Empire in the Beta Quadrant. It was the homeworld of a humanoid race called the Iotians. (Decipher RPG modules: Worlds, Through a Glass, Darkly) Early in the Terran Empire's history, an imperial exploratory vessel visited the planet, and due to an alleged "misunderstanding", the Iotians began to imitate 20th century Terran gangsters.
