"History Day" was an event held on the Marshall College campus. Professors, along with their grad assistants and students, were invited to give demonstrations of their specialities or interests. Curator of the Marshall College Art Gallery, Archibald Finney — noted for his participation in History Day — impressed and amused his peers and students alike by performing an authentic Native American dance before firing a flaming arrow through the center of a flammable target on one occasion.
