Story by Carlos Orsi Martinho, published in Rehearsals for Oblivion (Act I). Set in Brazil. The narrator was introduced to the Play, one of the last copies which had been smuggled to Brazil, by a woman named Camilla del Castaigne when he was a student. We learn that her grandfather, whose copy the Play was, started a del Castaigne Family tradition of naming children after characters in the Play, including her brother Roberto Uoht del Castaigne, who is known to all his family as Uoht. A technician named Fernando Amaral is hired to help stage a performance of the Play.
