During his fight with Sasori, Odayaka was under the effects of Gyaku Kokutris for so long he nearly was overcome by it. However, by forcing it away, he destroyed it, and his sword, Sekkyoku, and unlocked a new power. This echnique is Golden Throne. It gives him fiery gold armor, which he can use to great effect, and the ability to utilize Glorious Lava. His chakra in this form is much more powerful, making his jutsu better all-around.
