Harry Crosby was the father of Joyce Crosby, one-time wife of Alec Gilroy. Known as "Bing" after the American crooner, Harry performed a musical saw act at the Weatherfield Majestic when Alec worked backstage there as talent scout. It was here that Joyce was introduced to Alec.
