In episode 9, he and Rigadon and Tico encounter Princess Romy, who joins their team (at first to find her parents). Eventually, at the end of the first series, Willy and Romy marry. They still stay married in the second series (based on Journey to the Center of the Earth and 20,000 Leagues under the Sea).
