The Seasider is an excursion train service run by Taieri Gorge Railway Ltd. The train offers a half-day journey along 66km of the main trunk railway-line between Dunedin and Palmerston. As its name suggests, the train follows a coastal route, including a spectacular view northwards from high above the southern shore of Blueskin Bay.
