Oh god why am I doing this. So some people are of the opinion that the Development page needs a rework, this is doubly the case for the attached List of development recipes by item page which is riddled with out of date information and dead/bad links, so I'm going to waste time hashing one out here. This is a work in progress. Errors and bad typos and incomplete sections will be legion while things are hammered out.
