The Queen's Pageant was a celebration that took place on Hapes, the capital world of the Hapes Consortium. The purpose of the event was to select the most handsome young man of those attending. Along with the Queen Mother's Birthday and the Marauders' Masquerade, it was one of the three most prominent balls of the Hapan year. The Preliminary Judging of Muscles was one part of the celebration. The first such pageant was held around 4000 BBY by the first Queen Mother, as a parody on the female slave auctions that had been held under the Lorell Raiders.
