A mithril crossbow is rewarded at the end of Dimension of Disaster: Shield of Arrav. It is identical to the mithril crossbow outside of the dimension of disaster, but cannot be taken outside. It is used in Dimension of Disaster: Curse of Arrav, along with the mith grapple, to get through Zemouregal's traps.
