Evelyn Margaret "Eve" Elliott (nee Sykes) was the second and last wife of Fred Elliott. They married on 5th September 2001 at Paisley Bridge Hotel. They honeymooned in Venice and embarked on a Mediterranean cruise. She first appeared on-screen at the funeral of her son, Dean. She also tried to reconcile with her daughter Linda after abandoning her family. Despite this, Linda held her mother responsible for why Dean went off the rails and Linda was also upset that Evelyn left her and her siblings. Her trademarks were her bright red hair and very short temper.
