Hans Croft is a guardian who is in charge of the guardians at Court and instrumental in guardian assignments. When Rose returns from Las Vegas, he punishes her with manual labor twelve hours a day. Hans knows about Rose and Lissa's bond and when Lissa is captured by Dimitri, Hans allows Rose to be part of the rescue team.
