Anti-vampire weapons are carried by Vampire Hunters. Although vampires cannot officially handle them, some vampires have been known to use them. Some appear to have a degree of consciousness, as Kaname Kuran exerts a degree of control over the Bloody Rose when he attempts to reason with it and Zero responds in kind. Anti-vampire guns only work on vampires, having no effect on humans. However, swords will kill vampires and humans.
