Rosenborg Ishockeyklubb is a Norwegian ice hockey club located in Trondheim, Norway. Rosenborg has been playing in the Norwegian first division, the league below the GET-ligaen. In March, 2010, Rosenborg IHK was promoted to the GET-ligaen, and will be playing there from the 2010/2011-season. Rosenborg finished second in the playoff group stage behind Frisk-Asker Tigers. Kongsvinger Knights and Grüner were the 3rd and 4th placed teams in the group, finding themselves in the 1st divisjon the next season as well.
