The country was founded after the fall of the Argnorian Empire in 14 Ante Lapsum (AL). After the fall of the empire which dominated most of Greater Argnoria many power vacuums occured. The republic was one of the first to be formed after the empires and was led by Charles Gilbert who established a democratically socialist nation. The republic is also one of the oldest in the world having being in existence for 1150 years.
