The Battle of the Desert World was a battle fought between the United Nations Space Command, the Covenant and the Flood during the 2530's. It was the main battle in the game Halo Wars 3. It resulted in the Spirit of Fire and its crew being destroyed and the knowledge of the Flood once again erased. The known knowledge of the flood was kept a secret and were simply described as 'natives'.
