Mark Hallett appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as Nick Norbury, a nurse and colleague of Martin Platt who appeared in July 1990 and April 1992. He returned to the programme as butcher Boris Weaver, who appeared sporadically between April 1999 and December 2004. His other credits include roles in Mersey Beat, Buried, Outlaws, No Angels, Cracker, The Royal, Shameless and Waterloo Road. Together with former Street actress Alison Burrows, the pair run after school drama clubs in establishments around the Wilmslow area.
