1. Pete-Although he first appeared in "Steamboat Willie", Walt Disney's oldest villain didn't become a real culprit until his next cartoon, called "Gallopin' Gaucho", in 1928. In a later series of cartoons, he was to appear sporting a wooden leg (thus his other name, Pegleg Pete), though later still he appeared again without it. Mickey Mouse's greatest rival.
