Nero Hōzuki (ネロ鬼灯, Refined Tower Demon Lantern) was born on the thirteenth of July approximately five years prior to the events of the Fourth Shinobi World War. Adopted into the Hōzuki Clan by Matsuko and Shizuō, he is a master of their abilities, but his true lineage is that of a demon. He is a powerful Jōnin-rank shinobi and is a member of the Kirigakure Police Force.
