Chambre Hardman And The Lost City Of Liverpool was a 2004 BBC Four documentary examining the life and career of Liverpool photographer Edward Chambre Hardman. Hardman's pictures captured the people and city of Liverpool during its pre-war heyday as one of the world's most important ports and before its painful post-war decline. John Peel was the narrator of this programme. A photo of the angelic baby Peel (Ravenscroft) appears early in the programme. George Melly is among the interviewees.
