In 1986, this bridge was identified by name on a MUNI system map. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home) In the alternate 2259, in the office of Admiral Alexander Marcus, there was on the wall a large picture of the bridge. Taken at street level, near one of the suspension towers, this photo included a distant view of another suspension tower with Yerba Buena Island in the background. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
