Alonzo Harding Mourning Jr. is a retired American basketball player. He played in the NBA for 10 seasons, for the New Orleans Hornets (1992-1995), Miami Heat (1995-2001), New Jersey Nets (2003-2004) and then for the Heat again from (2005-2007). He was a member of the 2006 championship Miami Heat along with teamates Dwyane Wade Shaquille O'Neal and Jason Williams. After being a Free Agent for a majority 2008, Mourning officially retired.
