Later that day, Brian dropped Vinny off at the Quahog pet shop, where he would later buy him as a Christmas present for the Griffins. What Vinny didn't know between the two times was that Brian was a robot, which was the result of his accidental near death. With that event averted and Brian now a real dog again, he was able to buy Vinny, with his owner, Peter's youngest son, Stewie, by his side. Since Christmas, Brian and Vinny became more than just friends; they were like brothers, and had to go on amazing adventures together, including going through the Multiverse.
