The Blood Bat, also known as the GiantBat or Bloody Bat, is an enemy from the game Final Fantasy IV. Like all bats in the game, it has an ability called Bloodfeast that slowly sucks the HP from the target. The easiest way to defeat this blood sucker is to cast Fire spells or shoot it down with some of Rosa's arrows.
