Great Sahara is a desert land map type. Timber is very scarce on this map, but there is plenty of Oil, rare resources, and open space. This map type never generates oceans, thus it is not possible to build a Dock or naval units here. The map always uses the "Great Sahara Desert" Terrain. If you want to play this map with a different terrain set (e.g. arctic, steppes, ...), learn how to change the terrain.
