Hadise Açıkgöz, known mononymously as Hadise, is a Belgian-born Turkish singer and television presenter. She began her career participating on Idool, the Flemish syndication of the Idol franchise but did not reach the finals. However, she gained a recording contract and as of 2014 has released seven studio albums. She was chosen to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow performing the song Düm Tek Tek, where she qualified for the final and finished in 4th place.
