Luuke Skywalker is a genetic clone of the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, created by the Galactic Empire from the hand that Darth Vader sliced off of him during their duel in Cloud City on Bespin, and using the lightsaber he lost during that duel. Luuke is featured in the final book of the Thrawn trilogy, The Last Command. Luke duels him and the insane clone Jedi Master Joruus C'baoth on the planet Wayland in Palpatine's secret storehouse with the assistance of former Emperor's Hand (and his future wife) Mara Jade. Luuke is soon killed, and C'baoth as well.
